God's eyes

how does God look at us? at times when we sin, when we failed to make Him the focus of our lives, when we chose not to love someone who has done us wrong and when we weren't serious with Him, still, He looked at us with the eyes of His grace and love. though soverign and high up but still He chose to humble Himself down to this sinful earth to be with us. God healed our heart with His great love, love that's stronger, love that covers sin and takes the weight of the world. remembering how God saw me with the eyes of His love and grace, what i suffered on earth would seemed very very small.. compared to the price He paid, my tears and worship are nothing. Lord, teach us to live all of our lives through Your eyes.. remind us to always fixed our eyes on You Jesus.

the 2Ps

just within a short span of 1 hour i have learnt so much.. i can hear that God was speaking to me through joyce. from making crucial decisions in life to being a peacemaker, its amazing how God actually can piece everything so perfectly like a flawless jigsaw puzzle.. its really awesome. pray for wisdom as well as patience..what may seem godly might not necessary be from God or what God had really wanted. its difficult to judge and tell.. probably most of the time i pray that my mind wont be so smart for i dunno if that was from God or me myself.. when situations arise, seek God for He already knew the answer.

thank God for joyce, for this little sister in God's family who has helped me countless of times and she always place others before herself. she helped me by reinforcing that God placed people in bad situations so that, through Christ, after they overcome it, God's name will be glorified.. =)

lengshan; pray and be patient

18th march awaiting for that day

God's will be done..there's nothing we can do to make it happen but we will just have to be there at all times to help, aid and encourage.. pray that one day our efforts will be appreciated.. you might not see it now but just by knowing that God is in control of ALL things.. these ALL things are possible.. yeah i so agree, youth ministry is indeed an amazing one.. cause it is the stage whereby we invest in lives, not only our sheep but also the barnabas in our lives..learning to focus more on people and dim the light which shines on yourself.. just like how we should decrease as God increases, just like how small we should be when we see our big and awesome God.. everyone will get out of it and see the light soon.. we cannot be the ones telling what to do but we will be there to help.. =) God is really amazing.. for He is not only our God, He also holds many positions in our lives, and i'm really glad for that.. He has promised us that He will be here with us.. we should stand by Him, stand with Him and stand in awe of Him.. knowing that by Faith all things are possible which is what God is always testing us on..

cf and ag, we three shall be God's helpers on earth to be a part of His plan.. no matter how hard it might turn out.. exciting.. =) 18th march wednesday we shall remember! =)

how do you know?

how do you know if that is what God has planned? how do you know if that is what God really wants you to do it? how do you know if that is what God really wants you to have it? how do you know if that is what God has planned for you to embrace? how do you know..

lengshan; listen..

geo trip!! =)

oh man it was so super fun!!! well.. not everything but i can say that there were 8 happiness with 2 sadness.. we went to kuantan first and we stayed in a 4-star hotel which is super cool and big and sad vivien who supposedly said that she has a cough decided to sleep away from us.. =( haha but the tv is the capivating one.. first night we watched princess diaries then second night was SKY HIGH!! awesome show really!!

first day we went to see various rock types at the coast area which was pretty okay.. but there is sth which is like super funny..! we actually saw this monkey drinking the water bottle the other way round.. it isn't really exactly funny but eunice and i dunno why just cannot stop laughing!! monkeys are really cute but when they suddenly appear behind you you can really freak out... oh and also sth funny was that weird vien drop her pencil while taking photo and then she actually forgot to pick it up even when the person who took that photo told her? she's just really amusing.. oh when we went to the hotel, at the lift, apparently when a few of us went in, the lift made the buzzing noise which signals that its overloaded.. so huzaifah being the only guy inside got blamed for it so from then onwards everytime when we had to squeeze together in a lift with him inside, everyone will turn to him! haha..

second day was pretty awesome cause we had really a tough tiring but yet fun day!! at first we went to check out this cave which is very high up so we had to climb alot of stairs..and its really quite scary.. oh furthermore it was like raining already so those who carried umbrella were smart but for those who didn't apparently were drenched by the time we reached the bottom.. and i happened to be one of them.. kok wah as well.. we were really like luo tang ji.. oh next we went to measure the river channel and its really fun! its fun working with my group-group 2! we measured and measured until we were really exhausted.. somemore the rain still didn't stop.. cause i was the recorder so my paper was soggy and gross.. eee.. oh at night we collated everything and we drew up our river and all the groups fitted so well!! except err.. group 4! haha.. we ended off the session with everyone so happy and satisfied and then off to our dinner bbq!! oh and its really cool to see ms ting smiling and she seems very happy with our work.. haha..

third day was human geo onwards.. and our major activity that day was to go to the low-cost housing and interview the people there about their lifestyles and stuff.. our family was really blessed and they seemed very happy.. the moment i went in i saw Jesus's photo and immediately i feel that God didn't anyhow planned this! God also showed me that even those poor people knew Jesus and still can have a chance to have a relationship with Him.. God is really a great planner and He is not biased at all.. praise Him.. =) since they are of a different race.. so this verse came to my mind.. that " the angel had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth - to every nation, tribe, language and people." Rev 14:6. every nation will get to hear the gospel and praise the Lord.. oh compared to the other homes, ours is the more blessed
one.. others had like a single mom who has high blood pressure, breast cancer and diabetes all together.. so poor thing can.. and she has 3 sons who don't take care of her and whenever they came home drunk they will start beating her.. i feel so sorry for her... =( so this kind of interviews really opened up our minds to remind us how blessed we are to be living in singapore.. the kids over there are also very mature and sensible as they all know that its only through education then they can be out of this vicious poverty cycle, not only themselves but also their family.. how different..

oh last day was really very slack.. we went out to take the monorail which looks like a caterpillar so cute and liyana, jia min and i were allocated to count the number of vehicles and pedestrians.. and we did it like super fast.. haha after that we just talked and slack around.. oh haha the bus trip back was really funny! and claps claps to huzaifah who actually can master bridge in about 2 hours? awesome... but norman master it at 1, 2 am can!! somemore he bidded 5 clubs and he won eh!! so pro so pro... haha and sherman who has a middle name called tom will have to live up to your reputation! haha.. overall it was really fun!! haha naughty eunice dunno why suddenly became so high during the last 2 days and just keep disturbing us.. so weird lah she hahaha.. vien and i dunno what to do with her.. haha banu the air stewardness should go serve in the airlines haha probably sia? yay! everyone had an awesome time! =) glad i went for this trip.. but i miss the worship on sunday but oh well.. with God everything isn't a miss at all.. =)

probably you are that thoughtful eagle holding that important tool, standing outside my door.. ><

self-less mothers

i was like in a super bad mood when i reached home cause i waited for mi for about half an hour..cause my phone no batt so all she told me was that after twenty mins meet her at this particular place but in the end she went to the other place to wait for me instead.. i thot something was wrong so i went back home and called her, after knowing everything..then when she came back, i gave her that very tiring face since i had waited her for so long and then i tried on those shoes.. after everything i felt so bad.. like she has taken so much effort to buy those shoes for me before going for class but yet not only didn't i appreciated her, i gave her that monotone face as well.. i am tired and pain all over but she also.. somehow i wished that i could spend more time with her and tell her how much i love her.. mothers are really so self-less, giving all out for their kids.. that is the reason why God created mothers.. =)

whose footprints in the sand

its really really very bad..its so bad that i just dumped everything and went home. i didn't even have the mood to dance.. though i feel quite weird not having to dance.. though confused and filled with sorrow but God still showed me that He is there and that He still cares..God is awesome.. =)

Footprints in the sand
You walked with me,
Footprints in the sand,
And helped me understand,
Where I'm going,

You walked with me,
When I was all alone,
With so much unknown,
Along the way,
Then I heard you say,

I promise you,
I'm always there,
When your heart is filled with sorrow,
And despair, I'll carry you
When you need a friend
You'll find my footprints in the sand.

I see my life flash across the sky,
So many times have I been so afraid.
And just when I, have thought I lost my way,
You gave me strength to carry on,
It's then I heard you say,

I promise you
I'm always there
When your heart is filled
With sorrow and despair
And, I'll carry you
When you need a friend
You'll find my footprints in the san
d.

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
Romans 5:3-5

unfailing love, unfailing God

today had cms meeting with our south region rls rachael and cheryl yay!! haha seems like both years of my serving in ministries i have a rl named cheryl.. haha..oh and it seems like the real ppl are really cool cause they had some bible verse test today or sth and i see cheryl so hardworking all the best girl! =) oh oh rachael gave me this towel which she so sweetly customised.. thks rachael.. you are so sweet!! :) rachael touched on the topic of revelations today and it was really another new experience.. everytime when it comes to talking about revelations or the end times, different ppl have different things to say, advice, warn, and encourage. actually revelations we may think its very scary but it is not.. cause its an account of like a friend telling you a secret and it happens that this friend is our Heavenly Father who wants to reveal to and tell us.. but it just depends on whether we want to listen and believe anot..
"Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near."
revelation tells us the conflict between good versus evil and it unfolds alot of future events. revelation talks about the seven churches in the past but yet the content is still relevant to us and still can be applied and learnt from today. sometimes its really weird why people find answers by reading horoscope, palm reading and etc, knowing that the future can actually be found in the bible, or better, in God. revelation also depicts about what will happen in future, and throughout the bible, it teaches us how to live our lives right before the Lord and whether this life on earth can bring us to heaven or to hell. hell is a really really really scary place, like 10,000 more times scarier than the scariest place on earth and its really beyond imagination. if one day when the rapture happens and you happen to be left behind, then something must be wrong. so what if we were to serve so faithfully in the ministry, taking care of God's people, ushering, worshipping Him at all costs.. but still left behind.. ultimately it is the relationship between you and God that matters. if you have no relationship with God, no initimacy, all your efforts in the ministry will be wasted..
so we must always have a relationship that is on fire with God, always be pure in mind before the Lord and work and walk with the Lord with fear for He is God. i also learnt that God is unchanging in at least 3 things- His power, initimate presence and love. just like how Jesus spent time with His 12 disciples, when we spent time with God, we God's royal priesthood, can definitely shine the coldest heart! =) and to those christians out there we should yearn to hear the trumpet's call daily, for it is meant for God's people to be heard! be patient with the world right now, persevere, serve God's purpose and everything will fall into place. when we take care of God's business, He will take care of ours.

after praying for you today, i suddenly feel that the invisible barrier is gone!! God indeed helped me realise that if our friendship is God-based and God-centred, everything really falls into place amazingly..

God's unfailing love for you all.. =)
