this Amazing Love

ya and i went for friday morning service with elo at g1 on a really good friday.. partly cause its holiday but also two thousand years ago God did the most amazing thing which is still being remembered up to this day. worship was really good, sermon as well.. as it talks about what are the six main things which man long for. people need significance, love (acceptance). they also have the problem with sin and they long to find out the purpose, truth and meaning of life. it all just points to God, our creator, our saviour..
next we went for lunch and it has been so so so long that the three of us had lunch together.. but it was really very very short.. one day we three should just go out and have fun elo! =)
then ya and i went to grace's house. we started off with a bio lesson, taught and explained by ms lum and ya and i were just listening attentively, and earnestly asking questions, and were awed by the science and illnesses that surrounds the world.. i feel like we are like primary school kids..haha ms lum definitely gave us an exciting lesson about biology! haha then we went to watch passion of the Christ which actually was the main purpose of us going there.. it was really a good day to watch that movie since its good friday, hence commemerating what Jesus had done for us two thousand years ago..

i must seriously say that that movie is awesome.. since i am a very visual person so by showing a video or movie to me, i would remembered it and somehow learn from it.. it starts off showing the night before Jesus was crucified and how the scheming devil came to discourage Jesus from doing the Father's will.. after Jesus was being arrested, the blind and ignorant pharisees literally wanted Jesus dead no matter the cost.. it was obviously an innocent man but due to their authority and power, they can just simply do whatever they want. after the questioning, the people just surround Jesus and keep hitting Him to the ground and yet He didn't retaliate.. Jesus was then in a state of serious injuries and bleeding and He was being sent to prison that night without any cleaning of wounds or whatsoever.. next morning, it was when the first torture came.. He was brought before the governor and because this governor pilate who isn't very popular with the congregation so he acceded to their request and so he ordered his men to give Jesus serious punishment but cannot kill Him. according to the jews culture, they believe that 40 strokes would kill a man, so they gave Jesus 39.. but the sickening guards kinda enjoyed it so they just keep whacking Jesus as if He was a doll or sth..while they were caning Him with those thick thick canes, they just keep mocking Him.. =( caning Him just didn't satisfy them, then they used this super huge bat-like thing which has spikes on it to try it on Him..they hit Him so many times... and Jesus's blood just keep gushing out.. when they showed Jesus's hands were grasping and shaking, the whole torturous scene is really unbearable to watch.. then the worst part is that the devil was watching the whole process, carrying a little baby devil and that little sly devil was smiling at Jesus.. Jesus was then being dragged before pilate and pilate then had to decide whats going to happen next.. Jesus was covered in this red robe, and His body was totally filled with blood.. overall Jesus was in pain yet He still stood up..after he was given the verdict that He will be crucified, the guards gave Him the crown of thorns which hurt Him like crazy.. soon after..Jesus had to carry the cross which He still embrace it, crying out to the Father that He is merely a servant fulfilling the Father's will..Jesus went into the streets, carrying the cross, and the people just keep throwing stones at Him, so opposite from how they welcomed Him with palm leaves in the past..after He reached the Gethasame with much much much effort, this is the part which has given me the most impression, the nailing part..moments after He nailed on the cross, they pierced His left hand first.. He cried out.. since Jesus didn't have long arms, so in order to make sure the nail went through the hole on the cross for His right hand, the guards pulled Jesus and hold Him there, tearing his left hand almost apart..blood just keep flowing and He screamed out loud.. my heart was almost torn while i was watching, imagine mary and john who were there.. after they nailed His legs, the scene of what they guards did after that was etched in my mind.. they flipped and turned Jesus over the other side, making Him facing the ground with cross.. gravity which at that moment is really cruel, pulled Him towards the ground and that was the worse pain ever.. His hands and legs i am sure would be numbed at that time.. blood was just dripping from every single part of His body.. though gruesome, but it was really heart-wrecking.. Jesus was then hung there, mumbling to God. "Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing"

Jesus can still ignore the pain and love those ppl who has brought this upon Him, isn't Jesus worthy to be praised.. He loved us so much that He is so willing to bear all the sins of the world and died in the worst death.. shouldn't all man in this world give Him our hearts and proclaimed that He is King, the King of our hearts..

I asked Jesus "How much do you love me?" He answered, "This much." And He stretched out His arms and died. we can all accept this amazing love now so freely because of what Jesus had done for each of us..
