this is my first mission trip and its great! hmmm the reason why i said its great not because everything that had happened there are happy stuff but because there are highs and lows and there are so many take-aways..ok basically went from 23rd jan to 25th jan (sat to mon)!
22nd jan! fri! :)
talked about fri first.. :) had real and yes finally went for real after my trip to genting and its only until i see them then i realise how much i missed them, cause i know that although everyone was tired and not smiling when they see me(when they should ar!) but i realised i just smiled when i see them.. >< hehe then there was planning to be done for the whole entire day. i thought it would be very boring and slow but it was very fast and exciting! we did like super many things! :)we watched a video on how to dance the song, "every move i make", draw a "+" and a "-" sign, nicole, gaomin, samuel, jialiang, nigel and i started to draw and colour super nice pictures! :)haha we took alot of photos too, so basically it was a fast day though we are quite slack haha..oh then at night i went to night safari with the auzzie ppl and mummy. one of the highlights are the bats place but it closed! so sad! but this time i got closer to the flying squirrel! so i guess it compensate for it yup! hmmm and gosh, after this, i got super scared and wouldn't wanna get near you at all but as for the other one, i'm happy to be with you cause you've taught me alot of stuff :)ok then we went to mustafa and cause of some miscom, in the end mummy and i had to search for the auzzie ppl for so long and we had to search every corner of the building from bottom to top floor..now i am super familiar with the place already..yeah oh well, so they went off and i would miss mel, wenggor, richard and simon..they two are so adorable! :)
23rd jan! sat!
yayyy first day of mission trip!! hmmm it didn't start off good cause due to some hiccups we had to delay the mission trip or cancel it!! we were like oh my gosh..so scary..but thank God that in the end all's well so phew..so all of us set off to batam first then bintan! then we went to eat lunch at some restaurant and the food was so good! haha it wasn't the kinda mission trip that i expected haha..ok next kah sheng, joshua and i are supposed to lead some events for the children's church but i think cause like we don't have enough planning and that the place is very small that we didn't expect it..but i think the saddest thing is the children's response..yeah..then that night ya was very anxious about the event on sunday morning cause she is in charge of children's church too..so that night many ppl came to our room to help nicole to come up with plans and games and events and they did so many funny things!
24th jan! sun!
yayyy the children church thing is very successful and the kids are so cute! :)yeah..then the next big event is the planning of the youth programme! I was paired up with sonbry! haha forever working with him de..and we are in charge of the skipping section in which we came up with a super cool title and that is SKIP THE TITLE! so cool right! haha i think we are just too smart..>< haha and he ar..forever so detailed..haha but it is his strength too! :)
25th jan! mon!
we went to the tuition place and taught the kids tuition and when we have to pray with our eyes open, the feeling is quite scary..but somehow the place is too crowded so rafael, joshua, nicole and i went to the barren place there and play chap tay and play throwing stones and super amused by the wells..yeah..then we went back to singapore via ferry and super many things to reflect upon..yeah..everything is brief now yeah..cause its kinda hard to say..yup! :)

genting trip! :)
this is like the dunno number what trip already..but every time genting seems different to me. i went with extremely different this time and i've got what i wanted. i want to know what is exactly wrong with me these few days. this year is obviously the most awesome year for me. holiday meaning no studying at all, saltshakers still as close, i can be a member in shash, and of course real! like everything is so perfect and so comfortable but in me, i know that its not good. and yeah, in this trip, i found one flaw that i myself cannot stand it.
anyway, i went together with a bunch of australians who are actually vietnamise and they have cantonese as their main language and wow its really hard to communicate with them plus more they have the auzzie accent which makes us even harder to communicate! haha there are seven of them in total, two are parents and five kids which are guy 22, guy 20, girl 14 and twin boys 10! weng gor is very pro and his command of english is super good yet he still say that english is one of his worse? haha and during this trip i learned so much from him! he is a tech ass HAHAHA and a med sci HAHAHA and his jokes is like ERRRR kinda thing..haha but he is really funny and he is an awesome brother who takes care of his siblings and me too! :)haha weng gor is like weng brother in cantonese! then seng gor is more of a really quiet guy who hated it when i talked alot HAHA but i think he is just kidding la..he just likes quiet atmosphere. then next is mel who is really nice and she's really pretty, she gives me the pocahontas feeling HAHA and i hanged out most of my time with her and though she is younger than me but she understands my late waking up-ness! :) next is the twin boys who are extremely cute!! their names are richard and simon and its really really hard to differentiate them but haha during the trip my brother and i notice some ways to tell them apart and they are so so so cute! haha the questions they ask are really cute.. :) overall we had real fun on corkscrew, space shot and flying coaster!! these three are the highlights and its a must to play when go genting! :)

wow so many things happen during the weekend and today!!

ok went out with joanne to buy the awesome cap for josh! haha and we looked really cute with yeah..oh well haha then we went to cine to buy josh's cap which is branded ok..ok then we went to charlene's house and joanne and i made a total embarrassing scene on the bus and it was totally hilarious!! HAHA ok i think only we would laugh..cause we are super retarded, oh btw joanne is retard and i am retarded! cause my cell girl told me that retarded is the past tense of retard so i was a retard but now joanne is! haha i can expect unexpected things when i am with her haha! ok then we celebrated josh's birthday! and i think i am super smart! cause to surprise josh i decided to do a pair prayer so that when josh closed his eyes to pray then we can off all the lights and sing happy birthday to him!! oh but in the end thank God he offered to go toilet, oh well not offered but he did went toilet so we hurry rush everything and ta da!! happy birthday to dear josh who just turned twenty! :)HAHAHA i just got this thing about turning twenty haha which isn't very publishable haha..what kind of word..HAHA

woke up super early to go for ballet performance which turns out that the audience is probably about less than thirty? so pathetic.. :( oh and the MC is some superstar but dunno his name..and i just realise what kinda style i like!! HAHA :) hehehehe oh well, ok then went for service halfway! ok and then bryson and i set off from g1 to meet yixian and rafael and ate subway my fav love it to the max! :) oh and i like working with the three of them cause we realise that we are actually DISC! like yixian is a D, I am an I, rafael is an S and bryson is a C! so cool right! haha and sometimes its like really funny working with them! like many things happen on mon at bryson's house!

cause like we would laugh at rafael's lousy hokkien HAHAHAHA pig's trotters! and laugh at how super duper neat bryson is! and yixian's intelligence in which she said that she's born with it! HAHA..ok i guess alot of inside joke..oh well, they are just a super nice bunch of awesome ppl! :)oh and bryson's house is really cool and the cool thing is also of the paintings in his house that amazes rafael and bryson's super cute jack russell called blank-co! and we tried the bubble tea that we made and although it taste quite nice but errr..appearance wise..HAHA..but its a really fun experience! :) oh oh and i finally found someone who loves milo with raw egg and that is bryson's brother, bradley! cause like all of my friends find it gross but in a way its my family's tradition so i love it! :) haha so overall we've been quite slack though..and i still feel really bad that i kinda abandoned them..but they are very nice.. which makes it even worse..so thanks to bryson yixian and rafael! :) sry to ps you guys! everything would be fine as long as its in God's hands! :) oh and i went to watch the spy next door which is pretty nice la..then i went to meet grace and ya and i just really wanna thank God for grace, her acceptance and her love which encourages me :)

today is so full of ups and downs! iphone really rock anyway..i want one..
ok contact work rocks today! yeah this is the best day of contact work out of the three!
hmmm firstly, i was really upset by the two real quest guys..especially one cause he did it again, but i just need time to let it go away and cannot made the decision to forgive on the spot..yeah..
ok then it was contact work! worked with bryson and its really fun working with him cause we shared about our families, ok his family actually and realise that he has a very interesting family background hahaha..his grandma's eating and his grandpa's eating otah..hahahahahahaha..ok then we had REAL talk and it really motivates..:)
so everything that is boiling inside both of us has finally been released and i am really glad!! like i also got to know more about ya and myself and know God's mission for me or in a way my hurdle at this stage of my life right now..:) thrash everything out, though half settled but its really really very relaxed and i really thank God for it.. >< yeah its really amazing how God watches over both of us and thank God for the middlemen as well.. :) one of the main thing that we've came up just now was for example someone is trying very hard not to think about certain thing, yet, "you are thinking about the thing which you yourself dont wanna think about, so you are actually thinking about it!" makes alot of sense right! yeah we came up with it and hahahaha we're very proud of it yeah!! :)and i also learned that to help someone or give advice, one of the most crucial things is to understand how are they feeling first, let them know that you understand how they feel and then give them advice..also, i should start to love more people and love people more, start loving the people whom i kinda dislike now and love the people whom are already very dear to me! yeah :)
also, i am very happy to be out with honeypi on tues night like though i was very very tired after ballet but i am quite glad that we went out! went to burger king and then udders to eat mao shan wang ice cream haha when we are both having cough and sore throat but neh mind la.. ok then we decided to go chinese garden de garden there to feed fish but it was about 9 plus going 10 already..but we just went ahead to buy bread and walked over..haha and honeypi was like ok going there would be about 800 metres! haha so accurate la she..haha so in the dark night we two girls just walked and then suddenly!! we heard this very strange noise like super weird then we got really really very scared...so then after that we got so scared that we turned around and ran like crazy!!! its super scary can that sound! hahahahahaha its so super retarded la..ok then we went to the playground in the garden which is very very nice! there's this trapeline thing which has puddles of water cause of the previous rain but then we not scared dirty so we just swept or kick the water off and then jumped and jumped and jumped! the water made really very nice effect from our jumping! haha..then ok due to nature, i did one of the funniest thing but quite embarrassed thing in my life hahahahahahaha..ok then we went to sit the tyres which are actually swings and its really fun! i think swinging tyres are more fun than the usual one..so we talked for pretty long and then took retarded pictures which oh well, revealed quite alot of stuff uh! oh man oh man oh man! i'm very happy today! trillion things happen today and i am so thankful for it.. >< oh but first a brief summary about my week apart from me being sick, i have got lots of REAL stuff to share and LAUGH haha..ok here it goes!
5th January 2010! Tue! :) REAL work officially started and dunno why just got this tingly feeling in me which i can still rmb..so the day started off with staff devotion..pretty cool cause where in the workplace would you have people gathered together to worship God, learn about God and pray apart from God's house? maybe have la..but i think this is very nice..so after that its pretty much admin stuff.. and hahahahahaha here comes the laughter!! ok joey told us many things about mission trips and stuff...then he mention about us having a REAL video for memories so you need a camera to capture everything right? and guess what he said, bring CAMELAS just in case! hahahaha ok next number two. ok this one is pretty random, he is supposed to say BASICALLY but ended up saying BASIGULUI! its like basic-how-much-money(in hokkien)..hahaha oh no..i think joey is going to kill me soon..haha ok last one already! now the REAL team has a favourite colour and that is BLEEN! according to joey, its the mixture of blue and green! haha he's supposed to say blue, green but connected them together to become bleen! haha he's so funny! yeah ok the day ended off with REAL talk and then we went back home yup!

led worship with kah sheng and i love my worship schedule cause its yellow!! to all those who picked yellow, hey guys, you have just made a wise decision yayyy.. oh oh..i chose the song "You Alone" as one of the worship song and i am going to share how this song came about..at first, kah sheng chose the song heart of worship so i thought it over and think about the meaning of this song and then i thought that probably the condition of our "heart" is sth which God wants me to think about..so i flipped my song book to search for songs that touched upon our heart condition..while i was flipping my youngest cousin drea dear was beside me singing songs of her own..then suddenly i thought of this particular song but i only know the chorus, i dunno the title or verse at all..so i decided to ask her so i sang for her that portion but turns out that she dunno also..so i was like "hmmm okay lor..just continue thinking".. just then when i flipped to the next page there in front of me was "You Alone"! i was shocked beyond words and my cousin was too shocked! yeah..amazing.. :) then joey conducted the workshop on charting goals and it seems that there are so many things to do even when it comes to planning goals.. and one part of it is to first look at the different roles that you are playing to kick start the charting of goals..i listed my top five roles down and to the best of my ability, i would try to be a good cell mentor, best friend, daughter and sister and saltshaker.. yeah..its hard but will try... :)

led worship with kah sheng and i love my worship schedule cause its yellow!! to all those who picked yellow, hey guys, you have just made a wise decision yayyy.. oh oh..i chose the song "You Alone" as one of the worship song and i am going to share how this song came about..at first, kah sheng chose the song heart of worship so i thought it over and think about the meaning of this song and then i thought that probably the condition of our "heart" is sth which God wants me to think about..so i flipped my song book to search for songs that touched upon our heart condition..while i was flipping my youngest cousin drea dear was beside me singing songs of her own..then suddenly i thought of this particular song but i only know the chorus, i dunno the title or verse at all..so i decided to ask her so i sang for her that portion but turns out that she dunno also..so i was like "hmmm okay lor..just continue thinking".. just then when i flipped to the next page there in front of me was "You Alone"! i was shocked beyond words and my cousin was too shocked! yeah..amazing.. :) then joey conducted the workshop on charting goals and it seems that there are so many things to do even when it comes to planning goals.. and one part of it is to first look at the different roles that you are playing to kick start the charting of goals..i listed my top five roles down and to the best of my ability, i would try to be a good cell mentor, best friend, daughter and sister and saltshaker.. yeah..its hard but will try... :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AH GONG! =P
firstly, we had workshop by pastor kuang ming on more about studying and analysing the Word which is quite chim for me..so shows that i cannot be a bible scholar..so hard lor..yeah then pastor cuixian gave us some role-playing for our upcoming CW and bryson, gao min, nigel and samuel is very funny hahaha! oh and there's a very funny story about kah sheng and my conversation..ok at first i was just playing with the hole-puncher..then dunno what kah sheng said to tease me, i was like,"you say one more time, i would.." i was looking straight at his face then i was thinking what should i say.. then i said,"i would hole-punch your nose!" and you know what's his response? "punch la..then like that i can breathe better!!" hahahahaha i laughed until i wanna cry already!!! HAHAHAHAHA ok its super funny to me.. hahahaha..ok ok oh well, then there's pnp at night.. but before that i went to cell dinner with my cell girls and elo cause she need to talk to me about some stuff...and my very dear sweet awesome girl tiffy bought me pi pa gao!!! she's really dear to me.. ><

in the afternoon, joanne and elsa came to my house and we cooked maggi mee or aka mee sua cause we love soggy noodles and we kinda overcooked until like mee sua!! haha..and the interesting thing is that we each had an egg BUT we wanted them differently! i wanted it dispersed, joanne wanted it remain intact while elsa wanted it half-boiled! so in the end my egg went in first, then we had to cover joanne's full egg with noodles for it to hurry get cooked then lastly elsa's! haha its really fun! oh and joanne is so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i really dunno what to say already...she just so rock...yayyyyyy!!! oh and thanks for the friendship band..you will be remembered when i wear my shoes..haha kidding la..you will be remembered whenever someone call or when a message comes.. ><
hey i am really happy today thks..loves you pinky promises! and i really think i am being very very unfair..i really dunno how to make it up to you..just wanna know that i am seriously worried about the nine gen thing and i really want it out of your sight..really really..yeah..will always be praying for you..both of us will be there for you..

sick but still going
woke up with a worse sore throat even though i ate 2 apples yesterday..eh, so an apple a day keeps the doctor away? not in my case then cause i had to see my doctor today..head is like almost bursting and i feel pain even when someone touch me gently. i thought i wouldn't fall sick so easily but i think due to insufficient sleep generated for days thats why..see not only sleeping early but sleeping at the right time is crucial to our bodies! haha quoted from elsa.. my doctor initially gave me two days mc for today and tmr but i really have to go for REAL tmr..so she adviced me if my fever isn't down i should not be going..just in case i spread my illness..its some viral infection she said, grace got it right! hahaha she so can become a doctor! many unexpected things pop up and i am just so super glad! when i feel alittle more energetic in the afternoon i came online and i am really happy to see people asking how am i feeling like the REAL people and kenneth and elo, love them so so dearly..! and aaron creating the saltshakers group in fb! as well as honeypi assuring me..awww..it really cheers me up even though i was quite tired about preparing stuff for REAL and SHASH due to my headache..my cousins came tonight to stay and they are one of the best gift that God has given me cause each one of them are just so dear to me.. :) i am extremely thankful that i have finish coordinating my shash particulars cause its really hard..i didn't know manz..so thanks tiffy for doing it last year! now i know how tough it is..and so obviously didn't go for REAL today..heard they did vision casting and i wasn't there.. :( but thank God manage to finish preparing for worship..yayyyy!!! i guess doing God's work like the real and shash stuff and the little "hey how are you feeling" cares are the ones that kept me going and i really thank God for them! :)
